Dominica Day 7
Boattour on the Indian River
Another filming location for the pirates
Elves or dwarfs wouldn't have been a surprise in here
Best Rum punch I had so far
The witches house (I need to watch those movies again)
Last venture into the greenery
Syndicate Reserve
I didn't catch the parrots with my camera,
but we could hear them while walking through another amazing forest
Some impressive trees
In case you were wondering what this compartment was for...
The reserve is surrounded by big citrus farms
So long Dominica, you truly deserve to be called nature island!
Dominica Day 6
Castle Bruce Beach
Who needs white sand beaches, when you can have this?
Stormy, rugged beach
Viewing the bay while having a great lunch
Every bottle contains rum plus something and mostly really weird combinations... (this is not even half of the shelf)
Reminds me of New Zealand :)
Red Rocks in Calibishie
Another location of Pirates of the Caribbean
Nr. one beach
Perfect spot for a lunch break (and two minutes later came the rain again)
Cold Suffriere
Cold sulphur springs
All the smell but no warmth
Dominica Day 5
At 'le Petite Paradise' even the Bananaquits get a nice breakfast (and they attended with all their family and friends!)
Probably the most Toruristy place on the Island: Emerald falls
The forest surrounding it was not fom this world!
Breathtakingly beautiful. We had to touch it from time to time to believe it is real!
![]() |
The Emerald Fall: nice but nothing compared to the rainforst around it
At the Kalinago Territory
In the model village (where they prepare and sell the best Cassava bread ever!)
We stayed in a ramshackle guesthouse with Winnie Pooh bed sheets but at least we had this view from the balcony
